I own a Kia Cee'd 1.6 CRDI, manufacturing year 2008.
Sometimes when I start the car, the starter motor turns but the engine does not start. When I try one or two more times, the car starts normally. Firstly I thought it is an immobiliser issue, but it is not.
The other day I tried like 10 times with one key, and then also 10 times with the other key, but the car did not start. I waited for 10 minutes and tried again, then the car started normally.
Does anybody know what could be the issue here?
Do you consider the Starter motor itself?
Can you try to put an handy-scan on "OBD2" conector (a cheap one -25-30 Eur.) and watch after "DTC" codes or "Misfire monitor" for troubles Like: EGR system, Oxygen sensors, Fuel line, etc.
